Welcome to
KSCASI
 The
Karnataka State Chapter of the Association of Surgeons on
India was formed in 1982-83 under the chairmanship of Dr. A
J Narendran. The constitutions and the bylaws were drafted
at that time. During the subsequent years, the association
grew in size and the members felt the need to revise the
constitution. Accordingly, a committee was set up in 1991-92
when the present chairman Dr. K S Gopinath was the secretary
and Dr. R T Kulkarni was the Chairman.

The Annual
Conference of the State Chapter shall be held
preferably in the month of February. It must not
be held earlier than 1st February or later than
15th April ever year.

The venue of
the conference shall be fixed at least two years
in advance. The prospective members from the
place must apply in writing to the Honorary
Secretary two years in advance and three weeks
before the Annual General Body Meeting,
expressing their desire to host the conference
preferably through City Chapters if available
locally.

If there is
more than one application to host the
conference, the issue will be decided by
majority of the General Body. The local
organizing committee in consultation with the
Chairman KSC-ASI will nominate the organizing
Secretary.
